David Howard, founder of Howard Nurseries was president of Diss & District Horticultural Society.
This September, at their Early Autumn Show, was the first year the David Howard Memorial Cup was presented by Howard Nurseries Ltd for the Best Perennial Exhibit.
David always credited the Society with supporting his journey into horticulture at a young age; resulting in him being a keen supporter of the Society during his life. He would be quietly very happy with the honour of a Memorial Cup.
